Inside the Hangar: Prototype A and B
I am building two different prototypes simultaneously (from scratch, as you may remember from my previous post) right now. Prototype A (the left one) is 18 inches while Prototype B (the right one) measures 17. Both rely on the exact same software stack; the only difference is the physical capabilities (e.g., weight, lifting power, physical durability, etc).

They are nearly complete in terms of the physical setup. I may still add a logo on top of their head covers but mechanically they are almost (~85%) ready for real-world tests. Once I make them complete, I plan to design a third prototype (Prototype C) that is noticeably smaller than both of these airframes, something around 8 inches. This might take a while as I can only work on it one day per week.
Then the fun part will begin. I will let them fly and coordinate with each other for some special autonomous missions I assign to them and enjoy watching the magic they create together.
